First Time Here
Regardless of whether one’s focus lies solely in day-to-day activities, or perhaps one is seeking a possible deeper spiritual or philosophical understanding of their life; at times it’s easy to overlook what’s hidden in plain sight that suggests a divine and sweet reality.
Take for instance the honeybee’s search for nectar which not only sustains life but produces a wonderful nectarine substance from within the depths of a fragrant flower. The experience of such a simple and beautiful process reveals an interconnected organic whole which is indicative to a world of dedication not exploitation. The honeybee’s intrinsic nature is not only beneficial to the individual bee but the entire world around it.
We also realize our own potential through the process of self-giving, in which if we take an honest look, can be understood in all facets of life.
The joy of sharing something we truly love with one another both mutually and collectively further indicates a deeper interconnected relationship with life. So, what is the path? (Dedication or Exploitation) When we consider not only the obvious connected nature of reality but the deeper importance it plays in our lives, is it any wonder that all the ancient cultural and spiritual traditions of the world placed such importance on this question and its obvious answer.
The conscious culture of Bhakti Yoga, or the path of Devotion, demonstrates to the sincere seeker a joyful and simple process of self-discovery. Through selfless service, an appreciation of spiritual truths, and building a compassionate community we move together towards an eternal, conscious, and ecstatic potential.
